Natural Cleaning Products – One Day Course

Join us in the village of Lanjaron in the picturesque Alpujarra for a one day course on how to make natural cleaning products from items already in your kitchen cupboard and plants from your garden.
The day is fun, hands-on and packed with information. You will be making natural cleaning products for you to take-away with you. The course includes all refreshments including lunch with wine.
The Course takes place at Cortijo La Joya, please arrive before 10am so we can make a prompt start. You do not need to bring anything with you other than an open mind  and a willing pair of hands!

Course Outline

10.00-10.30 Introduction to the history and world-wide use of Natural Cleaning Preoducts, from Roman ‘pan-scourers’ , Greek ‘Air Freshners’ & Medieval ‘Odour Eaters’ to Victorian Laundry Aids
10.30-11.30 Demonstration of Natural Cleaning Ingredients – lemons, Bicarb, vinegar, salt, & herbs
11.30-11.45 TEA
11.45-13.15 Group Session – Making Products
13.15-14.00 LUNCH
